If someone here is in New York, and has any plans to go to the Met in the near future, do you think you might be able to do me a favor? Here is what I want: if someone could compare the two Greenwich armours belonging to Sir James Scudamore with the one which belonged to George Clifford, Earl of Cumberland, and try to figure out from the dimensions of these armours which of these two men was taller? I know it sounds random but it's for a study of Greenwich armours I'm working on. I would do it myself but, alas, I'm in Indiana!
Alternatively, does anyone have contact information for the Met's armour curator, who might be able to provide this information?
Thanks very much in advance.
EDIT: Oops! The second is the Henry VIII armour, my bad.

You could try calling the front desk and ask for the A&A department.

You want Dirk Breiding. Also, the close helm of the Scudamore armour is a modern replacement, and more or less a copy of the Clifford close helm, which throws a variable into your quest.
