Wow! :eek: That's quite a collection you've got there. Bet it took some time to amass all those weapons. :)
Just out of pure curiosity: That DT twohander... How stiff the blade on that one? Reasonably? A little flexy? I'm wondering because I own a Lutel renaissance twohander and the blade on that one is flexy -to the point of almost being wobbly. I've never gotten to handle any antique twohanders so I have nothing to compare with.

It took about two years or so... The Two hander is a Del tin and is kinda whippy... not too bad, but diferent. I actually dont cut with it, for the only time i did I think the handle cracked inside... :-( It feels fine, but just not my thing (from a user perspective) From a collection standpoint though: It is the centerpiece. Yeah, I know what you mean when you say it's one of your favorite pieces. So is my twohander. They are just so awesome and impressive.
I don't do any cutting with my twohander either. The main reason is that the edges are not correct. I guess it qualifies as a semi-sharp. Not it is near as those historical twohanders I have viewed seem to be. And the handle... Don't get me started... Mine was making nasty creaking noices already when I took it out of the box. :\
As for the whippiness: I wonder how whippy a historical renaissance twohander would be compared to your DT or my Lutel.

I belive it was the guys at Albion.... who called and asked if I wanted to help out on wrapping some of their customers swords.... I was really young then. I bought Geoff Freeman's Crecy... so, my apetite is subsided.... for now..... had a desert ordering of one of vlalentine armories "hand-holding-a-dagger" war hammers... this helped... if he ever sends it. :\ (you got time to take the order, fill out the order, charge my account, reply to email inquries, but not walk over take it off the shelf and toss it in a box and get it out? thats what shop-monkeys are for!.) :\
