Is there a forum site similar to this one where I could get some specific information on warships of the 1700s? (Same reason I was asking about swords and fencing academies of 1721 a couple of weeks ago, and for the same novel). Too much of the information I'm finding lists certain types of ships by century (specifying "early," "mid," or "late" if I'm lucky). I'm trying to get some information on ideal ships that would be used, travel times, accurate gun/tonnage/crew counts, etc.

Anybody know of a place where I can get that kind of info? Might any of you be able to help out if I were to PM you specifics?
