reenactment axe makers in europe
hi all
i have been looking for a while now to get a dane axe made on one found in dublin and a bearded hand axe for reenactment use. they are not fancy but i want a reasonable price and them to be sturdy. i tried binns but he tends to have a long waiting list so can anyone help? also does anyone know where i can get a poll axe i heard talk of some for sale at tewksbury for 100 pounds which is nice so can you help?

These people do one, but not based on a Dublin find. What price is reasonable, don't know, but these are supposed to be sturdy.

Gransfors Bruks has an excellent reputation for making quality modern axes. When I got my felling axe, I bought a Snow and Nealley, but if I'd had the money, I'd have gotten a Gransfors Bruks. I would assume their ancient axe line is well-researched and also of excellent quality.
hi guys when i say a reenactment axe i mean a blunt for combat NOT sharps.
