A conference to announce the true location of England's most famous lost battlefield. A panel of leading experts in battlefield archaeology and military history, introduced by Professor Richard Holmes, will discuss the results of the major new archaeological study which proves where the battle was fought. This will be the first public viewing of important finds not previously announced as well as the largest collection of roundshot fired from artillery on any medieval battlefield in Europe. A most impressive line up of speakers and some fascinating topics and I just recived news that the conference will be webcast with a live feed from 10:00 AM GMT. For those of us unable to visit the conference due to cost and/or distance the addition of the live feed is a real treat if they can get the Tech to work. (Fingers crossed)

The finds include a superb boar badge in gilded silver most likely worn by one of Richard III's closest retainers or householdmen as well as the largest collection of cannon balls ever found on a medieval battlefield.
