Just wanted to add a video about our little practice experiment:
The blue guy is blinded with a cap. He starts with a slow stab, red reacts, and blue responds with schnappen, etc. It works quite well. I'm planning to do this quite often on training. Has anyone tried this before?

Looks like a nice exercise. As soon as we get started with our group again I think I'lll try it. Could be useful. Thanks for sharing!

I've done something similar. Forte Swordplay does a lot of bind sparring, which is freeplay while staying in the bind. I used to do it with my eyes closed some times. I need to get back to doing that.
