Hello folks,
I have queried the search feature in a variety of ways, but I am coming up blank. Can anyone point me to images of specifically Icelandic knives preferably from about 900 to 1100 AD?

The place I'd look first is in Kristján Eldjárn's book, Kuml og haugfé. Knives are common finds in Icelandic graves, and there are some photos and line drawings of some of the finds in the book.
I suspect most, if not all of the artifacts are held by the national museum, Þjóðminjasafn Íslands. They have a fabulous database of their collection called Sarpur. Alas, last time I checked, it was only in Icelandic, and only available from on the museum's premises, and a few other locations.
Some of the regional and folk museums in Iceland may also hold artifacts, but they're going to be harder to track down.
I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.
Best regards,
William Short
