There is a Scottish targe in the great hall of Cotehele House/Manor St. Dominick, nr. Saltash, Cornwall. Can anyone provide details,photographs of this targe?. The targe along with other weapons is on display in the great hall. Details etc on this targe would be most appreciated.

I have came across a photograph of the Cothele targe in the new book "Scottish Arms and Armour" by Fergus Cannan p.100. Several other targes are also shown "The Laird's of Grant" and a targe from the V&A dated 1708. I have made a copy of the "Cothele" targe as it would have appeared in 1720 but not including all the tooling (I have to evaluate the tooling a bit more). Sorry no photo. of the finished product. I have to say this is an excellent book on the subject.
