Here is a quick rewrap I've completed yesterday for my tinker norman. I'll start with the scabbard asap.

I chose to dye the grip in a slightly uneven manner ("campaign worn"), and I rather like the way it came out (basically it's several pass with heavily diluted dark brown dye).

I have to say that this sword is the best candidate for upgrades I had owned so far...the perfect sword kit indeed!

I have to say though that you're killing me with the death of a thousand posts! I'd really like to buy the Hanwei/Tinker Viking sword and use it as a platform for some modifications but I have several projects lined up ahead of it and I'm trying to discipline myself for once. Your progress reports and evaluation of the Norman haven't made that any easier! :lol:
