Hi All,
I`m looking for images of basket hilt broadswords that were found at, or took part in the battle of Culloden.
I don`t have a copy of the excellent swords and the sorrows but images from this publication would be great.
I am researching a reproduction sword that would be a fitting testiment to all those who fought and died at this battle. I have contacted Eljay as the best artisan to bring this project to life.
My first post was for a fraser lovatt sword - but have to admit this was almost impossible to obtain.
I have broadened my search and will select the most classic looking, scottish battle field fighting sword.
Please help if possible
Regards
Ed.
