Hi! I'm Petr from Russia, Petersburg. I'm currently working in one of the Russians museums and managing the armory exhibition. Unfortunally, the information on different types of medieval arms and armor is insufficient in our city, so I decided to inquire on this Forum. Could You help me with information about two-hand and half-hand XV-XVI messers, sabres ect. The area, that interests me most, is Balcans (Venecian influence), Germany and Eastern Europe, but any information on this types of blades will be most appreciated (pictures, web-sites, books...). As for the information, I'm most interested in various pics, because I would like to see some more variants, than the commonly known and easy found (about ten variants) in the internet. And I wonder, if there is any specific literature on the topic, some Oakshot articles, maybe.
