I thought you would all like to see this beauty. Once again, a sword with no paperwork.
40" length / approximately 3 lbs. (feels heavier though, using a postal scale: it's tough to balance)

I hope I will post a monster sword later this week. I love this one too. If I had the money, the collection would be transplanted into my living room. heheh.
thanks for the help,
Joel
It's wonderful to see these photos!!
Please see my replica of this specific piece and the accompanying description. I had wondered where this original had gone!

I'd be very interested in purchasing this piece to go along with the replica I had made.
Here's a comparison I made of the original and its reproduction, based on the images I had available:

WOW...guess I should dig through this site even more...honestly, my fiance said..."joel, will you get your head out that monitor, geesh"...heheh. I've been reading like a madman...but as you know, one site just keeps you one step further from the information you wanted in the first place. (that's a good thing-IMO)
If you would like to make an offer please PM me.
The replica is very very nice, I laughed out loud when I saw the size and weights...given the postal scale I mentioned. How much did you pay for that? If I can't buy originals, then perhaps I will start with replicas.
I just picked up "the archeaology of weapons" from Mr. Oakeshott...the information is mind boggling. Great book recommended to me from bladeturner.com
Mostly illustrations, so you have to dig...and then, I start reading about something completely unrelated and not similar to any of the swords I have here..heheh.
thank you
ps. What is the BBcode for images so I can stop linking out. thanks. Can I use html?

Just encase your image address/URL in the img tag like this:
