That's quite a consistent finish you've got there. It looks great with the brass rivets too. Did you use a flame or a kiln to blue them?

Did you use a hot blueing chemical on these or is it done just with heat? The color looks very nice.

Very sexy Allan, I'd like to see you do an entire harness like that. I find Toby Capwells blackened english harness to be quite attractive.

Ooh, nice pauldrons. Do you have to do anything special to make sure the bluing is even like that?
Not especially Eric, just get a smooth even polish ( I have a special pair of gloves I use for polishing stuff to be heat blued,, they're not used for anything else but polishing, so they don't pick up grease or oil to be transmited to the polished surface which can change color when blueing ) and a steady hand an even heat.
