Looks like a baselard to my admittedly novice eye, possibly XIVth century?- http://www.myArmoury.com/albums/displayimage....amp;pos=19
There are quite a few other examples to be found on this site, a search should turn up something.
Interesting that the tang section is hollowed out on one side only.

a very interesting dagger!! :surprised:

Of course, basilard. Not easy to find out it's time. At first it seems to me also like a later typer (end of 15th century, early 16th century. Thinking at late types of ballock daggers and rondel daggers...

But I am not really sure.

Ric, can you tell where is it from?

I try to find out more, but I need a little bit time.

I am sure it's basillard, second half of 14th century. Looks like italian or french.
