Where can one get a functional medieval crossbow of the 14th-15th centuries?
Maybe not the high end but at an affordable price?

It really depends on how you define affordable. Tod (www.todsstuff.co.uk) does a good selection of late medieval crossbows, including some really good 15th C. munitions bows, and whilst they aren't cheap, the last time I asked about them he didn't have any plans to up the price just yet, so maybe worth a look.
