Here are a number of daggers and knives that are currently for sale and if you are quick, they should be with you by Christmas - assuming that anyone is interested!

In all cases the scabbards are hand stiched and double layer and constructed as most are shown in 'Knives and scabbards' and formed around the knife and included in the price and all blades are hand forged from spring steel.

There are two rondels, both with heavy section single sided blades and brass rondels. The blades are about 13"/335mm long and 3/8"/10mm thick at the hilt with a steady distal taper to the point. The darker handle is walnut, the lighter is elm. Both daggers are $225USD/£150GBP plus shipping at $18/£12 for shipping to Europe and $25/£16 for shipping to rest of world.

There is a baselard and a quillon dagger with thumb ring. The quillon has a box handle and a diamond section blade with a single fuller and has quillons angled away from the blade to allow for a blade catching function and has a rear belt loop fitted to the scabbard mouth. The baselard has walnut handle scales and a diamond blade with a pair of fullers. The quillon blade is 11"/275mm long and the baselard is 10.5"/265mm long. The quillon is £200/$300 and the baselard is £170/$255. Plus shipping at $18/£12 for shipping to Europe and $25/£16 for shipping to rest of world.

The eating knives are 14th and 15th C in style. The smallest has a 3"/75mm blade and is very 14thC and the longest has a 5"/130mm blade and is very 15thC in style, the others would work for either century. The handles are bone, horn and Yew. All the knives are $100/£65 plus shipping at $15/£10 for shipping to Europe and $18/£12 for shipping to rest of world.

Beautiful stuff as always Leo, if I hadn't just tapped myself out with a flurry of purchases I'd be all over these especially that rondel (the lower one).

I like doing a breadth of work, it keeps me on edge and keeps honing new skills. I was going to get into small hand cannons and rampart cannons this winter, but the sober thought that these are not really impulse buy type objects, especially given the current climate and that I am not likely to sell them at a market, has paused this one for a bit. I am also getting to grips with cranequins for crossbows at the moment and that is quite enough for a while. I will post one up when I am happy with it.
