Michael said it was fine for me to post about his project, so here are some pictures.
We were going for a geometric design as seen in period, abroad in Italy and Venice. It started out with the scallop (shell) design and grew from there.
If you saw Jean's designs, these are very different but have a familiar feeling.
The design was very difficult and many more lessons were learned.
Michael, per my PM these are going back to Russ this week. He will finish up the throat and get it off to you. Thanks for your patience.
Thoughts and suggestions welcomed.

Different from mine but equally impressive design and execution. :D
Based on the pics, I believe I will be very happy with this. Very nice!

That is a good looking scabbard. How did you solve the problem of the Doge's finger-ring, and especially the spur? I can't see it on your pictures, but did you cut a slot on the side of the scabbard, to accomodate the finger-ring as Armart did for their S34? Then, an even deeper slot for the spur..

Thanks Michael. I hope you like it as well.
Roger,
Russ at Tritonworks made this fine scabbard and sent it of to me to work on the metal bits. He did slot the scabbard on both sides to accomodate the finger ring and spur.
Im excited to see it when its all together.
