Photos only for now, need more time with it before a review. Between this and the soon to arrive wedding sword, consider me a happy collector.

the antiqued hilt came out really nice i'm happy for you!
Thank you sir, they said this was the first time anyone had them do the antiquing to a Yeoman. I will work on resizing the pics so I can display them on the page.
Wow... fabulous. Makes me wish I'd asked Mike to antique the hilt furniture on mine!

I know, I am very pleased with how it turned out!
I think the money saved in going for the Sovereign's plainer cousin was the right call for me. Sure, no double fuller, but beauty, plain and simple!

That was exactly my logic as well! Mike seems to like the Yeoman over the Sovereign, too, based on my chat with him. Between this post and the antiques Bayeux that just got posted, I think my next order needs to be done like this...
Mike,
That looks very cool! Like I said before, if Albion had more pics of swords with antiqued/blued hilts it would help sell some models. I have a Sovereign (and the double fullers are sweet) but I would have considered the Yeoman if I had seen it like this. I do love this style but didn't take to the photos on the website. To me some swords look a bit sterile when everything is left "in the white". The contrasting components can add a lot of character. Now, if only Albion would do a Museum Line version of that sword in the Met with the bronze pommel:
