Well, I can't do it justice in a few words but here are a few words anyway: Great looking collection and makes me think that eventually I should get a few complex hilted swords in my collection even if the period is a little later than my current interest. ;) :lol: :cool:

Although, current interest just means the periods/places I'm currently concentrating on but I find weapons of all periods interesting from pre-history to " Star Trek " . ;) Design first, aesthetic second, history a close third.

A beautiful collection there Nathan. Quite inspiring I must admit, especially coming from someone who has to admit that he has never really seen the fascination in collecting modern replicas!
Do I detect a slight bias there towards shiavonas Nathan? :D

Very nice photos. I found that a nice photo on the net would give a sword a much higher perceived value. After all, we can't handle the sword through the net and the photos are all we can get for our "sense". The numeric stats are good, but they don't reach our sense directly as pictures would.

Obviously, Nathan is very good at this and his swords' value is further augmented by his photo-taking skill. :) Thanks for sharing.

I don't know what it is about seeing a bunch of swords together that makes them so much cooler, but it works every time. They are definitely more that the sum of thier parts. Nathan great pictures as well, and that adds that much more to the aesthetic wow factor.

I had to take some new photos yesterday and earlier this evening which gave me time to do another group shot. Unfortunately, it took so much time to get my real work done that I wasn't able to get a really good shot. Nonetheless, here's a bunch of swords all grouped together to show scale:
