When designing a sword do smaller mutilple fullers impart greater rigidity for thrusting than a large single fuller.
Would a wide flattened diamond section with two fullers (one either side of the spine) be a better cutter than a hollow ground blade due to a less thick spine, but still maintain enough rigidity for thrusting.
Does a fullered blade that also has hollow grinding to the edges, like Xa.1 (as in Albions Oakeshott sword) cut as well as a purely lenticular cross section.
