Hi there!
I'm planing to build a crossbow, but I'm not sure witch materials I'm gonna use for the bow and string...
What's best for the bow? Spring steel or wood? Lenght of the bow?
Any suggestions on how to make the string?
Vegard

Hi Vegard,
The Book of the Crossbow by Ralph Payne-Gallwey, has all the info you need to make a historically correct bow. Tods Stuff in the U.K. supplies complete bows or bits for building your own. Hope this helps.

Norman.
