My christmas present arrived yesterday-today i opened the parcel:

A new flawless Tritonia :-).

My first replica and i really like it.
Very well made, very sharp, good to handle-despite its weight.

The size was sort of shock to me-i´m used to my napoleonic sabers (i do collect originals).
They have much slimer blades and aren´t that heavy-usually between 600-800g compared to the Tritonias 1500g-but napoleonic soldiers didn´t wear mail or gambesons.

When i´m back home i´ll take same pics of the Tritonia beside my sabers and post them.

Albion Museum Line Sword! Talk about starting off with an impressive sword, the Tritonia is one humdinger of a battle sword!
My very first sword ever, after 2 years of pondering which sword would be my first, was bought and received in early August, 2005 shortly before my 48th birthday. The Arms & Armor "German Bastard Sword", so I kind of know how you must feel about your Tritonia, I would guess that this is a very spiritual event for you Peter and it is most certainly a sword bo be extremely proud to own :!:
