European Infantry Sword Identification
Can you help me identify this infantry sword? This sword dates back to Napoleon's time in Europe and its place of origin is unknown.

Are you sure it's an infantery sword? It looks very much like a variant of the Briquet cutlass, which was apparently a naval weapon.

Compare: http://www.medieval-weaponry.co.uk/acatalog/f...tlass.html
Could you pls post pics of the hilt?
Are there any markers mark?
Any insription on the blade or the spine of the blade.
How long ist the blade?
