Man, what's up with the 15:th century mark? Looks more like a running whale then a running wolf. :wtf:

in 1654 (died by 1694).
Silver plaque, at the base
of the knuckle plate, marked
WEK surmounted by
an Earl's coronet.
* Charles Whitelaw believed
this to be for William, Earl of Kilmarnock.
(Kilmarnock was beheaded in England
for his part in the 1745 Jacobite
Rising). Weight - 3 lbs. 2oz.

I would like to contribute to this topic, this is Passau wolf from the sword in Belgrade museum. Its dating is disputable, but most agree that it is from the 15th century. Could this mark proove or disproove its dating?
