Just curious if anyone has ever seen anything like this before and/or has any information about this unusual Spear-Knife weapon?

I'm not familiar with that particular exaple, but there are at least few survival type knives that can be made into spears in this fashion. For a weapon, I'd much rather just have a purpose built spear; for a survival tool, I can see the advantage, as long as the construction of the knife is such that it will stay in one piece.

I'm aware that make shift spears etc were made by the British during the german invasions in WWII. I'd have to check around to see exactly where I read though.It's an interesting idea.

I had one when I was younger, I used to fix it onto pole as un hunting spear once I've seen the movie Rambo :p
To be honest I've never killed any wild boar with this terrific weapon :blush:
