These great knives are based on original finds along the Thames in London and range from the late 12th C. to the 15th Century.

These knives are all made with hardened steel blades and come sharp. The grips are done in a range of hardwoods and finishes. Most are treated with a rub of tongue oil and will make very cool stocking stuffers.

Hah! Get them while they are hot gentleman, nice looking pieces and price pretty reasonably too. Oh and don't bother asking about "S" it already belongs to me... :P
...and on second thought so does "U"... :) I've been wanting to do up an authentic sheath for something like this for a while, so I purchased the second one as a project piece. Chances are you all may see it again either here in the classified section or over on ebay once I've done the sheath up.

I would have purchased "U" as well if I were able to justify the expense and somebody else didn't buy it :)

I would be able to combine some shipping but I fear these are as low as I can go pricing wise. We wanted to have something for people who where interested in having something for christmas, but where concerened with the current economic situation. Besides we think knives are cool :)

You never know, you might get a second chance, it might be a tad bit more expensive but their would be a sheath included so...
In any event I'm curious what was it that drew you two those two pieces? For me it was the blade profile on "U" that got me thinking about it, and looking at "P" I could see the same though applying. Plus with "P" I really like the figure on the wood of the handle...

I like the bolsters and/or end caps. I also like the small size. I could see "U" combined with a pricker and used as a set.

Yes, I could definitely see that too. Hey while on the subject enlighten me about something would you? What the heck was that "pricker" actually for? I should really probably know this and might after I read that "dress accessories" book that I just bought but I don't...

That's a good topic for the Historical Arms Talk forum. I'd like to hear what others say, but it's off topic for this A&A promotional topic and I don't want to take away from their topic's goals.

U, P, & O were the ones that jumped out and said buy me on first glance but the more I look at the selection, the more that I'd like to add R to my collection.

Cool! I was wondering who was buying the others! Hey did they tell you what the handle of "O" is made out of? Is it the same wood with a different stain or is it a different kind of wood? In the picture it's impossible to tell and almost looks like canvas micarta although I'm sure it's not (a bit ahistorical that). Interestingly after talking to the guys up there I get the distinct impression that they sort of took some scraps that they had hanging aroudn and cobbled these together. I wonder if this to would have been something we might have seen in period. I'll bet it was.
