In the same vein, I discovered "ArtServe" the other day... WOW. I recommend browsing through EVERY SINGLE IMAGE under "arms and armor," ...slowly. After that, spend some time searching, there are quite a few images of arms and armor elsewhere on the site that haven't been categorized yet (such as these images from the Schatzkammer museum in Vienna: Great close-ups of the Sword of St. Maurice, its seldom-seen scabbard, the Sabre of Charlemagne, the Spear of Destiny... and that's not even half the images of interest from one museum!) Actually, the entire site is just fantastic, arms and armour is just a very small part of it.
My apologies if some of you were already familiar with this, but I was impressed. DAMN impressed.
