I do not know if this sword or cutlass.
Does anyone know anything, period, what size, can have more pictures?

I think you english would call that a sinclair-hilt. Used to be reasonably popular during the early 1600s, I believe. The example looks continental to me. You'll find more of those in this thread.

I would not characterize that as a Sinclair Hilt, does look contential, more of a broadsword look to it than a cutlass IMHO.

I have these images of the sword from Hessink Auctioneers.
Only information given is a total length of 100cm and a date of 1600.
