sword from late 15th/early 16th cent English effigy
Hi, visited the fantastic church of Lowick in Northamptonshire today, thought people might like to the sword (or whats left of it,) on the Tomb of Edward Stafford, d1499

The hilt and scabbard throat remind me of a number of modern production/fantasy pieces…interesting. Lovely photo!
