Jim, the S-shaped guard is a brass casting from Godwin's swords (you'll find lots of references on this forum). The clam shell I carved myself.
Gabriele, this hilt is kind of a generic one I drew up from various hangers and cuttoes - there are dozens out there with similar characteristics. The pronounced tang button and disc pommel cap is a common feature of many. They really have more in common with large knives than proper swords, and tend to be a bit blade-heavy for obvious reasons. This one has a particularly thick
cross-section and is even more so. I would personally have preferred a thinner, fullered blade.
