I was wondering if anyone could give me a review and test results of New World Arbalest's crossbows. I want to purchase one in the next few weeks, I dont doubt their quality and performance, but I would like to hear from an owner on how they perform.

This one was purchased around fifteen years ago. I used to shoot it often and it performed as a period crossbow should. I hadn't shot it in years before last summer when I removed it from storage. The bindings had loosened up so shooting was a bit sluggish. I contacted Mr. Watson and he offered to replace the bindings at no cost. That's pretty good after all this time. I haven't sent it in yet but I intend to. The construction and attention to detail are good as is the customer service.
