Well, my quest for the Roman shortsword is almost over ! Here
I present my New Pompei, The Mainz, and Fulham Gladius ! The
first and latter courtesy of a great trade with Ken Jay, who may or
may not be a member here ! B-)

Ok, ok ... so everyone has seen the great review on the Albion Gladii ! ME TOO ! hehe,
why do you think I got re-hooked ? B-)

So to take this in a WHOLE other direction here's a pic of an oldie but a goodie, with
a Christian Fletcher custom scabbard designed by your's truly !!!

... and I guess I'll just toss in a shot of my Albion Clontarf as well,
with ITS custom scabbard made by Christian Fletcher ! Hoo Haaaa !!!!

Here is another customized katana, called The Yukiyasu ... although
the blade is production-caliber ( which is not totally bad as I think some
must know ) ... just about everything else was handmade by a gentleman
craftsman named Henry Ahmu who produced this result from my own
designs ... B-)

Heck, ya' know, I am starting to run outa' things ... but
here's a pic of my Albion Baron, which is with Christian
Fletcher even as I type .... B-)

Then there is my Liveblade first generation Shogyusha,
with custom fittings and a new 13 inch tsuka wrapped in
brown silk ito by none other than Henry Ahmu ! B-)

Hi Nathan, nope, don't mind at all ! So, how could I forget this
rugged little number? well, not so little really ... A baskethilt
courtesy of a wonnerful deal with Thomas Macdonald, who
may or may not be the King Of The Baskethilts here at
myArmoury ! This is an Al Massey Blade, if I recall correctly,
but with a Christian Fletcher scabbard -- one of the first he
did for me !!! B-)

And of course, another of my katana ... this a Liveblade/Cicada Forge
Signature blade called " The Hanjiro " ... B-)

Hi Alina, believe me, I've likely over-spent a few times, and only
bend-back by trying to keep my collection at a reasonable size,
between 15 and 20 pieces. I've likely sold-off or traded-off more
than I currently possess ... in fact, other than a nifty monosteel
katana, this is all I have. B-) Although I'm working to come to
grips with an Albion Koln Spatha, and have a keicho katana
blade in shirasaya on order from DGuertin.com for a mid-year
project ...

hey mathew any chance of a closer picture of the Albion Baron's hilt?. i love the contrast created with the red grip.
