We have received many requests for a Viking sword with a "D" shaped pommel.

This model is in response to requests for a "simplified" version of the Valkyrja-style AE hilt.

Howie, that is great news. I like the Stamford. Quick question. Is Albion ever considering another Migration era model similar to the first gen type D?

I definitely already want that Machiavelli.

I like the looks of the Knud. I think the slender blade fits the hilt quite well...

Very cool. I like the Knut and the Stamford a lot!!! It looks to me like the Stamford will share the blade of the Reeve and Bayeux and the Knut may have the Norman/ Senlac blade. Is that correct, or will these swords have new blades? Either way, I like them a lot!!!

I really like the Stamford and the Burgundian. Normally, Viking swords fall out of my area of interest, but this one sorely tempts me. I also like the fact that the Burgundian is a type XVIII, rather than XVIIIb. Though the XVIIIbs are very nice swords, they're a bit over-represented compared to the other varieties of XVIIIs out there.

Howie, all four are beautiful, I especially like the type X Stamford and the Machiavelli Type XIX. As I've stated before, I definitely want to add a few more Albions to my collection and though I only have the Berserkr at present, I am a huge fan of your Viking Swords! The "Vassal" Falchion Sword is my single handed "Pride and Joy", this sword is the very definition of the word "Responsive"! The Knecht and the Dane both speak boldly to me, only so much money, therefore I cannot buy all that I want and must make selections. :(

I am soooo glad you put that pommel on a type X. I'm still awaiting the arrival of two Albions (a Senlac and a Reeve), and now I want this one. How 'bout I just give you my bank account number, and ya'll can empty it out, since thats whats gonna happen anyway :p

Is the Type-X blade from the Reeve/Bayeaux (I assume so) or is it from one of your Type-X Vikings?
I think this one will be a nice hit for y'all.

I'm glad to see some early compound hilt styles being represented, and I think all three of the swords look very nice.
Is there any news on when the so far un-produced NextGens will be coming out? I am particularly interested in the Tyrolean, the last I heard it was at least a year away...

Damn you swordmaker folks. I'm still saving for the Kingmaker, and here you go enticing me with yet another XVIII model--not ot mention that sexy XIX...

Regarding the Stamford- I was hoping for a tea cozy pommel paired with a type XI. I especially hope that the Stamford does not share the blade of the Reeve as I cannot bring myself to buy two swords with the same blade.

Kind of disappointed . . . . I guess you can't please everybody.
