I am very sorry for reviving such an old thread.
However, the link to the report about the coif above is dead. I am very interested in this coif, as it's spot on for me period wise and very relevant for my current projects. I have contacted acta conversion, but they have not replied.
Can someone please share an updated link? I am especially interested in the wedge type and the manufacture of the riveted links. I am Danish, so I do not need a translated version.

As noted above, the rivets are not of the wedge type, but round pins. The pyramidal form around the rivet may have been formed by the shape of the recess in the riveting tongs.
