Hello, what arms would be used with such a piece. 1640 France.

Pair of wheellock pistols, a baskethilted sword, heavy rapier?

Also how would they have been carried?

Would a scabbard and belt suspension be used or some form of cloth suspension?

I'm not very familiar with 17th century arms.

Any pictures of examples of arms that would accompany such a piece would be helpful.

Thanks
