This is a reproduction of a triple lobed bollock dagger from around 1500. The original was German and shows the typical flared grip of German daggers of the time.
The blade is triangular and so is perfectly suited to stabbing, but less so to cutting, though the blade is still sharp enough to cut. The guard is cast and engraved bronze and the pommel is a very thin bronze disc, with some engraving. The grip is box wood, soaked in linseed.
The scabbard is double layer veg tan leather with a bronze chape and is suspended by black dyed hemp cords.
I hope you like it.
