based on the Vaage find in 'Swords of the Viking age' by Ian Peirce
I elaborated on the existing details to produce the bronze guard and pommel parts,as well as a grip ring on the stained and oiled Maple.
32": blade with a weight of around 2.4Lb,weight forward of 5" hence a purposeful piece.
This will be the first of these,so currently For Sale,PM or contact via FB page or the castlekeep.co.uk website.
