Does anyone know of a good forum re: the Middle English language? I want to pose a question there to see if someone could translate a line into Middle English. Thanks!

I'm afraid there's no forum specifically for Middle English, but you could try asking around language learning forums like Omniglot or Englishforums.com.

You also might consider finding an academic consultant. A number of US colleges have excellent medieval studies programs, but I think the "mothership" is the one in York ("Old" York, of course!):

Fordham University in New York also has a well-established center for medieval studies, they host a wealth of material online and are definitely there for all, not just their own department:

Finally, there is the Medieval Academy of America, despite the name (which may conjure RenFaire images... Huzzah!) they are a very dedicated professional association for academic types, mostly profs and grad students. They ought to be able to find you a reliable consultant, if you find the right person to ask:

Best of luck.

I never knew that there's a Middle English language forum. But I think there's no such forum.
