Since there doesn't seem to be any bamboo cutting video done with European longsword on youtube, save the infamous ARMA deltin breakage on bamboo, I brought my three longswords (1 Brescia Spadona + 2 complex hilt longswords from Tinker) to the wilderness for some test cutting practice. The ground was uneven with limited space to swing the sword, not to mention the high density of the bamboo bush that often interfered the cut. Also, once a bamboo was cut from the root, it was hard to make it stand still anymore. The bamboo diameter I cut ranged from 1.5 to 1.75 inches.
