Phoenix Metal Creations Medieval War Sword

Original: Date 1300-1350, Private collection

Manufactured by Erik Stevenson of Phoenix Metal Creations, this sword is a type common to the early middle ages, circa 13th century. It is patterned after the Grete Swerdes of Type XIIIa in Oakeshott's typology. The blade is manufactured by Angus Trim Swords, and mounted by Erik Stevenson. Furniture is of mild steel with a leather covered octagonal grip.
