I used this book by Dr Lerner for a research paper on the black death of 1347-50, and the apocalyptic feelings that that outbreak of pestilence caused. This is a very interesting work which follows a medieval prophecy from the 13th century on throughout the following centuries as it recirculates Europe, with some revisions to stay frighteningly current with events taking place at that time. Really a fascinating book covering a subject that I had never really given any thought. Highly recommend.
